Server Rules

Applicable on all L2Aurum servers

  1. Bot. The use of any software or hardware that automates gameplay (bots, macros that play the game for you, unattended farming, etc.) is prohibited. Staff may investigate suspicious activity; penalties include warnings, temporary bans, or permanent account closure.
  2. Dualbox / AFK farming. Follow the dualbox limits announced for your server. Characters must be actively played; prolonged unattended farming, looping macros, or “ghost” parties may be treated as a rules violation.
  3. Real money trading (RMT). Trading in-game items, currency, or accounts for real money or off-platform value outside approved systems is prohibited. This includes third-party sites and private deals presented as “gifts.”
  4. Exploit. Abusing bugs, unintended mechanics, or client/server issues for advantage is forbidden. Report issues through official channels. Known exploitation can lead to rollback of gains and account sanctions.
  5. Scam. Deceiving players in trades, auctions, clans, or services is not allowed. Evidence-based reports may result in item restoration where possible and punishment for the offender.
  6. Shop. Respect the per-player shop limits and fair trading practices. Manipulating shops to harm others (fake listings, bait-and-switch) falls under scam/exploit rules.
  7. Playing on multiple servers is allowed. You may play on more than one realm, but you are responsible for following each server’s rules. Cross-server drama, harassment, or rule evasion may still be actioned.

Only in Essence

The rules below apply only where the Essence ruleset is active on L2Aurum.

  1. Farming offline. If offline farming mode is offered, use it only as described in patch notes. Circumventing limits or combining it with prohibited automation is not allowed.
  2. Mouse macro. Simple mouse software that does not automate combat or replicate bot behaviour may be allowed as announced. Anything that plays the game without your input remains forbidden.
  3. “Griefing” is not allowed. Intentionally disrupting other players beyond normal PvP/competition (e.g. repeated harassment, blocking spawns to deny content) may be penalized. See our News for related announcements.
